I’m a big advocate of trying new things, so today I did
A tour of street art and graffiti in East London followed by trying our hands at some.
In the past, the fear of doing it badly or getting it wrong would have stopped me doing it…
But not anymore!
I don’t really care how good my art is, I’ve switched my focus to the ‘doing’ rather than the ‘outcome’.
There’s lots of evidence to suggest that constantly developing ourselves and living life to the fullest has positive effects like –
– Lower cortisol levels (that’s the stress hormone)
– Improved immune function
– Better sleep
– Increased emotional health
That’s worth pushing past the fear of failure for isn’t it?
