Stress has become so ‘normal’ that we don’t give it the attention it warrants. But just because something is common doesn’t make it normal…
It’s a big deal and it’s making us sick!
Stress can be hard to avoid. We don’t have control over things outside ourselves.
So for me stress is all about the way in which we choose to carry the load. What stresses one doesn’t stress another so it’s about the way we look at it.
This quote from William James sums it up nicely –
The greatest weapon against stress is our ability to choose one thought over another.
We have to chose our thoughts wisely if we don’t want to be stressed like the rest.
