Time Chuck your To-Do List

18

I used to tie myself in knots with impossible to do lists, setting myself up for failure day after day…

I’d expect myself to complete the list in one day, but if I had calculated the hours it would have taken several days in reality.

When I didn’t complete the list I would punish myself by adding the left overs to tomorrow’s equally long list which of course I couldn’t achieve.

I felt like a failure every day which didn’t do a lot for myself esteem!

But time chunking has helped me break this negative cycle and so I want to share it with you.

It’s very simple but very effective!

I keep a running to do list and from that I create a daily to do list.

As I add items to the daily to do list I time chunk them…

Task 1 9-10.30am
Break
Task 2 10.45-12pm
Break
Task 3 12.30-1pm
Task 4 1-2pm
Break
etc…

Give it a try and let me know how you get on?
