You can try stuffing them down with food or drowning them out with alcohol or working so hard there’s no time for them…
Smoking fags to distract yourself or losing hours in Netflix or preoccupying yourself with a relationship or fixing other peoples problems…
You can even worry so much you are totally in your head and disconnected from your heart…
However, eventually your emotions will find a way to make themselves heard!
Pain in the body
The longer you ignore your emotions, the more intense and uncomfortable the suffering becomes.
The challenge is after a lifetime of not feeling your emotions, you don’t know how to be with them, to feel them or to process them, so you’re stuck in this loop of a pattern that leads to more and more suffering.
That’s where I come in to help you jump off the merry go round and to create new patterns and new ways of relating to your emotions.
